Every year, our memory cards shootout put some of the leading brands through benchmarking tests to see which one comes out on top. The SD memory cards are fast becoming the most popular memory cards amongst photographers with more and more manufacturers usind SD as the preferred memory in DSLRs as well.

Our sepia-toned glorious past!

A long-forgotten photo-journalist’s work was discovered accidentally, which brought to light some amazing moments of our country’s freedom struggle movement

Back after a 10-day exhibition in the UK recently, Aditya Arya, a Delhi-based photographer and photo conservator, is quite upbeat about the response it drew. In fact, The Independent had printed a two-page spread highlighting the exhibition, which was a visual chronicle of our Independence movement.

When you’re looking to buy a battery, whether for your laptop, camera, or any other device, the ideal battery would be the one with the highest energy density, best safety, and longest discharge time. Rechargeable batteries cater to all these parameters while still being environmentally friendly. With worldwide sales of $36 billion in 2008, the rechargeable battery market is slated to grow to $51 billion by 2013. But somehow India has been relatively slow in adapting and warming up to the rechargeable battery market.

Many cities in the country remain undiscovered, simply because people have pre-conceived notions about them. Most people associate our cities with a select few places, monuments or institutions which are, undoubtedly, the iconic symbols of these cities. You can argue with an iPhone fan about how the phone isn’t that awesome. But you should be prepared for something before that…..Be prepared to lose! There are only two things that you can find fault with on an iPhone - the battery life and the not-so-great camera. Well, the battery problem was fixed with the new 3GS, and Apple introduced a host of amazing photo apps, available at the Apple Store, to compensate for the limited photo features on the phone. Asian Photography drew up a list of the best iPhone photo apps - some you pay for, some free, but ALL extremely useful.
